Cities/Villages/Towns issued the following announcement on July 12.

Preview Agendas for the Week of July 12

Topics this week during city meetings include:

Plan Commission (July 12, 6:00 pm) will:

have a public hearing about a conditional use at 4057 N. Mayfair Road for religious assembly

have a public hearing about a conditional use at 346 N. 121 Street for a child care establishment

have a public hearing for a conditional use at 3201 N. Mayfair Road for a secondhand sales establishment with drive through (Habitat ReStore)

discuss a land combination via certified survey map at 10845 W. Blue Mound Road

Government Affairs (July 13, 6:00 pm) will talk about:

a new operator's license application by Amber M. Morris for review

combining Design Review Board Residential and Design Review Board Commercial into one Design Review Board

2021 City Administrator special initiatives

a resolution submitting to a binding referendum on the April 2022 general election to reduce the size of the Common Council from 16 to 12 members

Transportation Affairs (July 13, 6:30 pm) will talk about a 60 day trial modifying parking regulations near Wauwatosa East High School, a request to modify parking regulations on 74th Street from Wright Street to Clark Street, a request to modify parking regulations on 89th Street and 90th Street from Wright Street to Meinecke Avenue, and a report regarding the conclusion of a 90 day trial removing parking regulations on the south side of Lincoln Place near Wauwatosa Avenue.

Community Affairs (July 13, 7:30 pm) will talk about pedestrian safety in street right-of-ways and on medians.

Financial Affairs (July 13, 7:30 pm) will hear a report about the Retiree Medical Benefit Liability Calculations under Government Accounting Standards Board Statement 75, consider a contract with Prism Technical for a procurement equity participation plan for the General Capital apartment building proposal, and consider amending certain Building and Safety Division fees.

Meeting Format

Meetings may be all virtual or in a hybrid format. Please look at the individual agendas to see the meeting format for that specific meeting. For hybrid meetings, in-person attendance shall be open only to elected officials, city staff, and no more than four applicants that are named on meeting agendas. We will also be physically distanced and within recommended room capacity for each meeting room. Read more about this meeting format decision.
