Cities/Villages/Towns issued the following announcement on Sept. 9
In the next few weeks, the contractor will continuing curb work on 68th Street, between Milwaukee Avenue and State Street.
Residents who live on 68th Street may not have overnight access to their driveway in the next week or two as the contractor replaces driveway approaches or does curb work. We will provide you with overnight parking passes prior to removing access to your driveway.
The contractor is also preparing the street for the new pavement. The asphalt paving is scheduled for late September.
68th Street (between Milwaukee Avenue and State Street) remains closed to thru traffic through mid to late October 2021. This schedule is weather dependent.
Harmonee Bridge Parking Lot - Closing Next Week
The Harmonee Bridge Parking Lot (the large parking lot under the Harmonee Avenue bridge in the Village near the Farmers Market) will be closed starting September 13 until mid to late October, weather dependent. Our contractor will be repaving the parking lot.
