Knightwalk 2021 - September 24

Run

Dominican High School recently issued the following announcement.

42nd Annual KnightWalk

Friday, September 24, 2021

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

KNIGHTWALK is a time-honored tradition at Dominican High School for students to raise money and school spirit with a six-mile walk-a-thon. On Friday, September 24th, students and faculty will kick off Homecoming week with a walk through Whitefish Bay, donning spirit wear and school colors in a display of Knight pride for the entire community to see.

KNIGHTWALK funds are counted on to help cover the cost of student activities that include sports, theatre, campus ministry, government, music and fine arts. These activities are a key part of the Dominican experience and rely heavily on the money raised through KNIGHTWALK.

Examples of yearly expenses that KnightWalk funding supports:

Athletic Dept. – Equipment fees $15,000 annually

Theatre Dept. – Production rights/royalties $6,000 annually

Campus Ministry Retreats – $20,000 annually
