Construction is complete on 68th Street
68th Street (between Milwaukee Avenue and State Street) is now open to traffic. There are some major improvements here, including lining the sanitary sewer to improve its function, repaving the road because of its condition, designating a bike lane on the east side of the road, and adding storm sewer extension on the northern end of the project to help with rainwater.
There will be some ongoing work on the sanitary sewer in the next few weeks, but 68th Street is open to traffic during this work.
