Village Of Shorewood issued the following announcement on Dec. 16
The storm that came through Wednesday night and Thursday morning has led to some storm damage of trees with some electrical outages. DPW created the following storm damage FAQ to help answer your questions.
DPW crews will be out to clean up trees, branches and limbs that can be found in the public right-of-way. Since brush collection is done for 2021, residents will have an opportunity to dispose any tree branches and limbs collected during the next Saturday hours when the DPW compactor and recycling center is open, which is January 8.
DPW is aware of the street light electrical outage. Next Electric was called in to assist in determining the issue today. Unfortunately, with all of the current WE Energies outages in the neighborhood, it will likely not be repaired this week as these outages are making it difficult to determine location of the faulted cable.
