Bay Shore Lutheran Church issued the following announcement on April 6.
This is our last Wednesday Prayer for the Lenten season. Next week is Holy Week. Please watch your emails as we will send more information this week to prepare you for our opportunities. Below you will find a new way of thinking about prayer, and also a note of a special collection happening here at Bay Shore. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me.

A Special Collection is being coordinated by me on behalf of Kathleen Briggs. Kathleen is moving to Laurel Oaks in the next few weeks and needs some assistance in paying for the movers.
I know our church family has been concerned and praying for Kathleen over the past year, and I am grateful that she has made the decisions leading to this move.
With her permission, I am working directly with Laurel Oaks and the moving company. If you are able to donate to this special collection, please email me directly. I will collect only what is needed for the invoice--which will be completed on the day of her move (April 18th).
