A SALUTE TO OUR VETERANS! Join us for "The Stars & Stripes Salute to Veterans". The celebration includes a Flag Ceremony at 6:15pm and an outdoor concert at 6:30pm. PLEASE ARRIVE BY 6:00PM at the Richard E. Maslowski Community Park (2200 W. Bender Road-Glendale.) Bring lawn chairs. All are invited to attend as we reflect and honor those who've served and sacrificed at the onsite Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin War Memorial. This concert is FREE and is featured at the Johnson Controls Outdoor Amphitheatre at the Richard E. Maslowski Community Park. Command Performance is a traditional 16-piece big band that features two dynamic vocalists (one male and one female), performing Jazz standards from the 1930s, 40s, 50s, and beyond. In addition to performing in both casual and formal settings, the Band also portrays itself as a Glenn Miller-style military band that performs all-World War II programs, ideal for historic and retro-style events. Popcorn and other treats are available for purchase at the Sprecher Brewing Outdoor Oasis. This concert is proudly sponsored by BANK FIVE NINE. The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will be leading the pledge of allegiance and handing out pins to honor our Vietnam Veterans.
