The Pre-Stage construction work for Milwaukee County’s Good Hope Road Box Culvert Project will be tentatively completed next Wednesday (8/10/22) with the medians paved in with asphalt. The Contractor plans to do a traffic switch from Pre-Stage work to Stage 1 work next Wednesday Night (8/10/22) or Early Next Thursday Morning (8/11/22). The WB lanes of traffic will be diverted with pavement markings, traffic signs, and traffic drums to the south side of Good Hope Road and onto the new asphalt in the median. There will continue to be 2 lanes of traffic in both directions throughout the project but some turning movements and median openings within the project work zone in Stage 1 will be restricted. Stage 1 will allow the contractor to replace the north side of the box culvert under the existing WB lanes of traffic. Stage 1 work will last until approximately mid-September.
**All of the work is weather dependent so this schedule is tentative and could change if we have some inclement weather.
