Property Taxes Now Available | City Of Glendale

Property tax bills for Glendale were mailed to property owners today!

Full payments are due January 31, 2023. Optional installment payments are due January 31, March 31, and May 31, 2023, respectively. Special assessments and special charges are not eligible for the installment plan and are due January 31, 2023, along with the first installment. We recommend that you mark your calendar so that you are not late for an installment payment because no reminder notices will be sent.

All payments made on or before the due date, as well as any delinquent real estate tax payments made through July 31st, should be made payable to “Treasurer, City of Glendale.” Delinquent real estate tax payments after July 31st are to be sent to the Milwaukee County Treasurer.

Please note that for mail payments, the postmark governs the date of payment – not the date on your check - and it must be received on or before 5 working days from the due date. A Friendly Reminder that the City does not automatically mail receipts. You may enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope for a mailed receipt, or you can obtain tax details (a form of receipt) and duplicate tax bills online here. Payments will appear on the City website the day after they are posted.

We strongly recommend using our silver Drop Box located in the island of the Police Department parking lot. This is a secure Drop Box and our City Staff empty this multiple times daily. If an individual is unable to pay during office hours, payments may be left in a sealed envelope in our drop box. Payments left before midnight on December 31st will be dated December 31st.

A credit card payment option is also available. There is a fee of 2.9% of the payment amount.

Payments will be accepted at City Hall Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm with the following holiday closures: December 23, 26, 30, 2022, and January 2, 2023.

If you have any questions, please contact the City Treasurer, Nicole Maurer, at 414-228-1705.
