FOIA Request to Village of Whitefish Bay Regarding Same Day Registered Voters on November 7, 2024.
In our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Milwaukee North News have sent a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., to the Village of Whitefish Bay. The request was sent on November 7, 2024, and specifically asked for a list of new registrations voters that registered to vote on November 5, 2024.
As an integral part of the media community in Wisconsin, we are deeply involved in gathering and reporting news to the public. Access to public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities. These responsibilities include holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
